I completely forgot something I wanted to write about in the last blog. Probably because I didn't have any pictures, although I should have taken some!!
Since Harlan probably wouldn't ever tell, I need to let you know that Harlan's been dancing. Yes, and it wasn't even with me! I guess anyone's capable of a little dancing if they think a mouse might try to climb their pant leg! :)
Lilian, Harlan, and I had a little encounter with a mouse in our living room the other night. I think Lilian had the most fun watching me standing on the sofa (because I was barefoot :) and Harlan dancing with the mouse. She was laughing so hard she could barely stand. Eventually the mouse was successfully hunted, although I (yes, me!) had to take care of its cousin this morning!
For now, we just need to worry about the rats under the house!!

Well, Harlan is eventually going to post pictures of the new construction, but in the meantime...
Using the pool while it's still clean before all the Finca kids get in. No pump or working filter and 100 kids swimming in clothes eventually equals gray pool water!
We did eventually let him in to swim... :)
Angelica with her friends Maribel and Claribeth
There was a team here from Oklahoma, friends of Dwain's family. They did many things including gardening, singing, crafts, handing out gift bags, and painting of both walls and faces. :)
Zack was a pirate with a cross on his cheek and Angelica was an Easter doll after face painting with the team!!
Angelica, Ali and Heidi, a member of the Oklahoman team, made peanut butter cookies for dinner one evening.
We also helped Dwain celebrate his birthday. I have never seen anyone else that excited to get bloodmeal as a gift! :) Oh, and we did give him pretzels, as well.
And just one more fun picture of Dwain using a jump rope!!!!
And just so you know that Andrea doesn't have all the fun... she did let Javier paint her fingernails, as well!!
Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Thanks for all your prayers and support. May God continue to bless you as you seek him!!

Ok, this time we're just going to have pictures of strange and exotic animals and perhaps people?! :)
I think this strange thing is called a madre culebra here and supposedly it is dangerous. I didn't know how it could be, but Dwain, the one it landed on, wasn't taking any chances. :)
The bird below is a zopilote or commonly known in English as a... buzzard.
This is a picture of a nest of a very invasive animal and one that is considered the most dangerous... to many forms of plant life - the sompopo! The large cutter ants have carried off many of the plants that Dwain and Harlan have planted including the peas that I personally was anticipating.
This beauty showed up in the Finca today.
And this is a Danilo, pretending to take a picture of us while he actually took one of himself.
Javier continues to do well. He got the stitches removed from his head and the orthopedic doctor says he can now be sitting some of the time. He just loves when Andrea comes to visit him especially when she paints his fingernails! He protested, but we know he enjoyed it. :)
The rest of the pictures are at a bonfire we had this past Friday.
I know Harlan promised photos of the new construction in the next blog, but it will have to be the next blog when he writes it! :)
