hanging w/ the Beards

Our friends, Jonathan, Marillyn, Tabi, Naomi and Tobi Beard, living in Ojojona, Honduras, came to visit for a couple of days. It was good to spend some time with them!

(For some reason Marillyn was hiding whenever we took pictures... :)

We are Harlan, Janelle, Angelica, Alessandra and Zackery. We are from Pennsylvania in the United States. We are back in Pennsylvania after living in Valle de Angeles, Honduras for about four years. We served as associate missionaries with Eastern Mennonite Missions. Based on our experience working at "La Finca de Los Niños" children's home, we founded a new ministry program in conjunction with Honduran nationals to assist "at risk" youth transition into healthy, responsible and productive adult lives. The name of this new effort is called El Camino Adelante (The Way Forward). We are founding board members of El Camino Adelante and served as directors of the program in Honduras for a year and a half before moving back to the USA. El Camino Adelante is a supported ministry of The Second Tunic. We thank God that He allows us to serve him in a little corner of Honduras and here in Pennsylvania.
