work and play...

Well, time just keeps moving along and we're trying to keep up! We're looking forward to having the first board meeting that will include all the members of El Camino Adelante (ECA) this coming Friday/Saturday, God willing. There have been many prayers and emails to try and make this happen and we ask you to continue to pray with us that all the pieces will come into place!

We were able to celebrate the New Year with the Finca, twice! One celebration was on the 29th so two different Texan teams could celebrate with the Finca. Everyone enjoyed the chicken from KFC (otherwise just known as Kentucky here:).

The chimes choir was our before dinner entertainment and this time it was Ali who was called to stand in for a missing member...

No flash, so you can see what the comedor looked like with its Christmas decorations.
The Finca again celebrated the New Year with a bonfire and snacks on the 31st.

Michael (ECA board member) and Eldri Wittkamper arrived from Minnesota on January 2nd. It was great to finally meet Eldri, and we appreciate what Michael is doing to help us further the vision that God has given us. Eldri returned to Minnesota today, but Michael will be here until the end of February.

Harlan has been working on a variety of things over the last few weeks. He has needed to translate documents and write many emails for ECA, but I think he enjoys working in the dirt most of all. :)

When not in school with their favorite teacher/mother, Angelica, Ali and Zack are enjoying having their friend, Sigel, here to help play games...

build a dam in the creek on the property,

...and work! :)

The Dam looks like a lot of fun (and a lot of mud :) ). I can't wait to come and see it :)
